We are now in Canberra, trying our first night without mains power. We arrived at 2pm, after driving through very pleasant country with many many sheep and new lambs, and quite a few horses with foals.
Canberra seems weird near where we are - there's open country, then a set of new houses, more open country then big unit blocks, then a whole busy "main street" of shops, and more open country.
We'll see more tomorrow
Oh, and there was no cherry blossom at young, just lots of very green cherry trees.
