A lovely peaceful day, and a drive of only 150km. First was Mamakula (?). Where there was this big viewing place for watching the lagoon. We saw whistling ducks and ducklings, on the water and flying
Then on to Mary River Park, lovely and green with plenty of trees and not many people. Phil saw a 4m croc, but the rest of us had to be satisfied with some pretty little wallabies, black cockatoos, and a kingfisher.
This blog follows Phil and Jackie, and Barry and Cathy, on their travels through the west of Australia. Hopefully we will update every day while we are away.
If you have something to add (from a phone call, email or whatever), please post it in a comment.
