No pizza at lunch till Thursday. :-(
So instead we found lunch specials at a Chinese:

The nicest Chinese I've had in living memory!
Then we found a shop with key lime tart, which was almost the lemon that our taste buds expected last night: (I'll tell you about that shortly). It was yummy, and so was the iced coffee and malted milk

Now we are back at the van, resting and loading photos on to the computer.
Monday nights dinner : this was a good/bad/weird experience. We found a restaurant advertising steak from $13.95 - that's good. We had ordered by 6:10. At 7pm we still hadn't been served, though people who ordered after us had been. That's bad. We asked a waitress, who went to enquire (good) but didn't come back and tell us why (bad). Asked her again, she said our order had been lost but should be ready in 5 mins. In 5 mins phils order came (good) but no one else (bad). 5 more mins and Barry and Jackie were served. 10 mins after that we asked about mine- the waiter went away and came back with it. The food was very nice (good), so we decided to have desert. While waiting for it, a lady front the next table brought her chair over, sat down and began conversing (weird). Our deserts arrived (good) The lemon tart was tiny, had dry pastry and cracked and dried out filling and no taste The lemon meringue pie was similar (bad). It was so bad we decided not to eat it or pay for it. Phil went to tell someone in charge about this . After a while a manager came, heard the whole story, and decided we didn't have to pay for anything - good, and a bonus, because we intended to pay for the mains.
What a mixed experience!
