There were also a lot of wildflowers, including a small swathe of blue ones, which we've never seen in multiples before.

It was lucky it was a nice drive, as lots of enormous and slow wide loads were on the road as well. It took an hour and 45 mins to go 115km !
We went to New Norcia, which is a town established by Spanish Benedictine monks in 1849. There are still five monks there, and we walked around the buildings which are quite substantial, saw the museum and art gallery, and had a very nice lunch at the hotel.
