Ravensthorpe

On the way: Black cows, white lambs, ground banksias.

Thursday: first up we are off on a wildflower hunt.

Only an hour to drive 20 kms!

Next we went to Hopetoun, on the coast. The freezing wind was back. We saw dolphins in the ocean quite close, but they didn't like the wind any better than we did, and mostly stayed under water. :-(

So then we needed morning tea in a nice cosy cafe

Next, a drive through Fitzgerald River national park, with some spectacular views of beaches, headlands, cliffs and waves.

We walked up a headland/hill and were rewarded by wind, rain, and a flurry of snow!

Barry decided our subaru could do whatever the prado could

Well almost!

Now it's raining, so we are headed back to Ravensthorpe
