It was so great to see Roy and Berrice today! They are the sort of friends that it doesn't matter how long you haven't seen each other, you just pick up as though it's no time at all. :-))
First we ate warm freshly made scones and talked, then later they took us to a waterfront club where we had lovely Chinese meals. It was a very pretty place, but we were too busy talking to remember to take a photo!
Our car overheated yesterday, so it was off to the Subaru dealer today, and Roy very kindly ran us around to the service dept, the chemist and the supermarket. And to our van, from where he will pick us up tomorrow. Car needs a new thermostat, which they will install tomorrow.
