Limbs

Well we've crossed the Nullarbor and it was a much better experience than I was expecting, with the landscape changing from trees and bush, to dead trees and shrubs, to low scrub with no trees - and then it all went into reverse and we gradually had more and more vegetation, followed by acres and acres of farmland, planted with wheat we assume. And in places we were so close to the coast and saw some more spectacular scenery, including southern right whales- awesome! Today we have travelled to Kimba, a small town whose claim to fame is that it is located at the halfway point between the east and west coasts of Australia.
We only have one more day with Barry and Cathy as they are going to visit friends in Nowra and we are off to the Barossa valley. It's been great travelling with them and it'll be strange to be on our own for the last 10 days or so.
