Balranald - the frog town

Today we added two more states to the total. We've now been in 6 states this trip, every one except Tasmania! Victoria was just for a couple of hours round Mildura, however.
We also found one quarantine zone we weren't prepared for. We had got rid of everything to enter WA, all fruit and vegetable fruit at Ceduna, the same before Renmark for the fruit fly exclusion zone, and then we found another between renmark and Mildura. So we sat at the roadside table and chairs, cut up our strawberries and bananas and squeezed the juice of the mandarins over them.


At Mildura we had a walk beside the Murray river


We are now camped at Balranald, in a peaceful little caravan park on the banks of the Murrumbidgee.
