Update: very quick phone call ... "Feeling tired this evening, did some stuff in the morning, and then had to drive all afternoon (300km with only a short stop). But in a position to get straight on the freeway, and get through Sydney in the morning (which is what we wanted to do). The TomTom is telling us to go a totally different way from what we would done, but we'll believe it and see if it's better."
