"Not a very good day today - very hot again so we decided to have a rest in the air con! Now the weather is cooler but it is very smoky - from Savage River right over on the west most people are saying. Others saying Devonport or West Tamar. Its very hard to see anywhere from where we are . . but when we went out to get a new jockey wheel, it was completely clear about 20 kms SE. . .sleeping in the air con tonight.
Also got the car checked out - no problem, $14."
