SMS on Wednesday morning : "At Kaihu Tues night. No signal. My eyes feel jammed full of sights. Many more green mountains and valleys with winding roads. Many streams, harbours and bays.
Tortiseshell cat in a shop asked to be picked up so I carried her around the shop and she purred and drooled on my coat. I felf right at home.
