Day 8 - to Palmerston North

SMS this evening: "Cold this morning. First to Napier. Driving through and over the usual mountain ranges we first came to a lookout from which we saw a really good waterfall quite unexpectedly. Then on the left a green valley with a long line of white cloud and on the right a snow capped mountain in the distance. Spectacular! On to Napier with black same and green water and now we are in Palmerston North. No cats at all :-("
