The vans are on top of the cliffs
When we woke up on Friday morning it was so windy you got dust in your mouth when trying to speak!
We discovered that our perception of dirt roads depends on whether we grew up in England or country Australia.

To Barry and I, roads are bitumen or sometimes dirt, and if dirt their quality varies. To Phil and Jackie, roads are bitumen, and if they are dirt they will probably shake you and/or your car to pieces. Of course, this perception has not been far wrong on a couple of the tracks we've been on!
We are now at Eighty Mile beach. The beach is just as expected :-)
It stretches almost forever in both directions and there are heaps of shells. We had a good wander and collection friday afternoon.

On Saturday , Phil and Jackie and I went 4WDriving a way up the beach, to search for shells in an area away from the caravan park. Found some lovely coloured ones.
We are also saving money on iced coffee/chocolate, by making our own
