Day 22 - to Tuatapere
SMS just minutes ago: "Another avalanche last night so Milford road still closed :-( We are victims of warm sunny weather! Drove along it anyway to see the mirror lakes, snowy mountains etc. Now we are almost on the south coast at tuatapere. Much flatter and warmer with even more sheep."

What a pity aabout Milford Road. Still there is plenty more to see so just enjoy.
Cathy I am so sorry you missed going thru the Homer Tunnel the view of the Mountains when you come out of the Tunnel is breathtaking.We saw the amount of snow that was blocking the entrance exit on TV and it was amasing.
