Message received Tuesday morning:
"In Surat Bay Monday night. No signal. We are right on the edge of the lake. Totally quiet and peaceful. Spent the morning in Invercargill. Saw the worlds fasted indian, spotlight the museum and art galler. Then drove along the Caitlin Coast looking at the scenery. The sand is sand colour at last! Hardly a wave. Weird! Warmer today, no need for long undies like yesterday."
