Kalbarri

We spent the day today driving from Denham to Kalbarri. We stopped numerous times along the way to take photos of the wildflowers growing along the roadside and in the fields. I only remembered to take one with the phone but as usual it doesn't come close to showing what they were like. Have a look at Facebook for more.


Our campsite in Kalbarri is on the river mouth with a good view of the ocean. And the wind has dropped, so we don't feel as if we are being blown away every time we step outside!
We're now just about level with Brisbane - on roughly the same latitude.
Phil and I are having a meal at a local restaurant. I decided to have the ham hock. Here is a photo of my meal.
