Kalbarri

Today we headed to the coastal cliffs just south of Kalbarri, and yes, it was spectacular again! Tall, rugged cliffs falling to the sea, and lots of wildflowers in the heath.

Here's Barry hunting wildflowers with his camera

It's quite amazing to see the plants that grow in the most inhospitable places.
And we saw whales, including one breaching. It came 3/4 of the way out of the water! Of course, no one got a photo of it.
This afternoon, Barry and I went to the Rainbow Jungle, a parrot park here in Kalbarri. It was set out quite nicely, with a big walk through aviary, as well as smaller ones. Lots of beautiful parrots , especially the Australian ones, but some others as well.

And tonight we are off for a roast dinner at a local restaurant. Yum!
